Referees play a crucial role at OYSC. Referees officiate our recreational and competitive matches. Referees create a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience for all participants. We are committed to supporting and respecting referees at OYSC and other clubs.

Expectation for Players & Coaches
- Respect the referee decisions at all times.
- No arguing, or abusive language will be tolerated.
- Coaches and managers are responsible for the behavior of their sideline.
- Parents and spectators must remain positive and supportive.
- REMINDER: Some of our referees are beginners and are learning. Just like the players they need to develop. Be patient.
Failure to follow these expectations may result in disciplinary actions in accordance with OYSC rules.
Zero Tolerance Policy
OYSC enforces a zero-tolerance policy towards referee abuse. Verbal or physical misconduct towards any referees will not be tolerated and may lead to:
- Ejection from the match
- Suspension
- Further league or club discipline
